• Wool is an all-natural fiber made from the protective coats of sheep. Wool rugs are very durable, resilient, and offer natural stain resistance. They are soft and luxurious underfoot and easy to clean. Some shedding is to be expected but will decrease over time.
• Construction: Hand-Tufted
• A hand-tufted rug is made on a frame with a hand-operated tool that loops (or tufts) yarn through a canvas material. Hand-tufted rugs have a solid backing and are not the most durable construction as tufts can loosen over time. Because they are crafted by artisans, no two hand-tufted rugs are alike.

• Wool will look great for a long time just by vacuuming regularly. Be sure to turn the beater bar setting off before vacuuming. Clip loose ends with scissors to remove. If spills occur, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Use a common wool cleaning detergent to remove stains. For substantial spills and stains, we suggest professional cleaning only. Rugs placed in direct sunlight will fade over time, so we recommend rotating your rug.
• Appropriate rug pad is highly recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping, add cushion, and improve durability.
