I originally bought this stool to serve as a drink holder in my small apartment for when I have guests over. But I've found that this stool looks cute anywhere! I've put it between my accent chairs, in our guest room, next to couches and chairs and cabinets and it can easily be styled anywhere. The shape is classic and goes with anything. No chipping or staining, even when we've put hot and cold drinks on it. It's sturdy and doesn't wobble. Overall very happy with my purchase! I might have to purchase another so I can have one in each room at all times
