Hand-knotted from 100% wool, our artisan-made Lexington Hand-Knotted Rug is as durable as it is beautiful. A tonal ground of cream and gray with an all-over golden tan and borderless design balances the intricacy of the textile to give it a luxe and sophisticated feel. • Material Explanation: Wool blended rugs combine wool with other synthetic materials to provide durability and resiliency at a great value. They are soft and luxurious underfoot and easy to clean. Some shedding is to be expected but will decrease over time.
• Construction Explanation: A hand-knotted rug is made on a large loom where a master weaver carefully and intricately ties each knot by hand, making an incredibly durable rug. The more knots per square inch delivers a more defined pattern and enhanced durability. Hand-knotted rugs do not have a backing and can last for years if cared for properly. Because they are crafted by artisans, no two hand-knotted rugs are alike.

Care:

• Wool will look great for a long time just by vacuuming regularly. Be sure to turn the beater bar setting off before vacuuming. Clip loose ends with scissors to remove. If spills occur, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Use a common wool cleaning detergent to remove stains. For substantial spills and stains, we suggest professional cleaning only. Rugs placed in direct sunlight will fade over time, so we recommend rotating your rug. 
• Appropriate rug pad is highly recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping, add cushion, and improve durability.
