Very classy looking. Nice to dress up a space. If wanting to use tapers it can be tricky because of the spike.

this item is pretty and feels sturdy with its weight but it also came with some scratches to the pretty gold and the metal prong in the center made it impossible to put real taper candlesticks on (each one I tried cracked and broke) and then also prevents you from being able to set the fake taper candlesticks in the center of the holder. Ended up trying to cut off the sharp prongs to see if that helped and still no luck so all in all glad it was only around $40 but still feel like that was too expensive for what you get
